Resolve the “Download failed. Unauthorized” error when updating WooGallery Pro.

If you encounter the error message: Download failed. Unauthorized while trying to update WooGallery, it typically means the plugin cannot authenticate with our licensing server.

One common reason for this error is when the site has been migrated to a new server, but the original license activation is still tied to the old environment.

To resolve this deactivate the license key from the WooGallery plugin and activate it again.

Tip: If you no longer have access to the old site, you can manage activations from your ShapedPlugin account or contact support to deactivate your license from the old site.

Other Possible Causes

  • The license key is incorrect or expired.
  • Your site cannot connect to our licensing server (check firewall or security plugins).
  • There are temporary DNS or SSL issues on your server.
